Rental Policies

Here are some things you will want to keep in mind before and during rentals at Handy Andy.

Deposit Is Required on All Rentals
Two Forms of ID may be Required
Reservations that are not picked up without prior cancellation may incur a No Show Fee. This fee can be up to 100% of the estimated rental rate.

Deposit Must Be In Hand At Time of Rental. We Can Not Accept Credit Cards Over The Phone For Payments.

Deposit Can Be Either Credit or Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover)
Cash Deposit Accepted Upon Approval.
No Cash Deposit Accepted for First Time Renters.

Truck Rental Policies

All Trucks Must be Returned to Renting Station
We Rent Trucks For Greater Seattle Area Only (Local)
Local Is Less Than 50 Miles From Store Location
No Trucks East of the Cascades
Trucks Are Due Back By Time and Date on Contract
Overtime could be as high as $20 per ½ hr.
All Authorized Drivers Must Be 21 or Older and Carry a Valid Driver's License
Washington State Law - All Drivers Must have Personal Insurance
All Drivers Must Carry Proof of Insurance
We Do Not Offer Liability Insurance
We Offer Collision Damage Waiver That Covers the Rental Truck Only (In The Event Of An Accident Involving Another Vehicle)
Collision Damage Waiver is not Liability Insurance
Customer Is Liable For All Damage To The Rental Truck If Truck Strikes Overhead or Stationary Objects
All Traffic Violations Are The Responsibility Of The Renter
All Tolls Are The Responsibility Of The Renter
Mileage Reading Is Taken From Factory-Installed Odometer
Mileage Rates Do Not Include Gasoline
Trucks Are Full Of Fuel Upon Pickup And Are To Be Returned Full Of Fuel
Fuel Receipt Is Required Upon Return
Fuel Receipt Must Show Gallons Of Gas (Not Just A Prepay Receipt)
Trucks Returned Without A Fuel Receipt or With A Prepay Receipt Will Be Charged A $10 Minimum Service Fee Plus Any Additional Fuel It Takes
All Trucks and Equipment Must Be Returned Clean. Cleaning Fees May Be Added If Not Returned Clean.
